This was a really incredible modern property to capture up in Calistoga, about 2-3 thousand feet above the valley floor. For this particular shot I used Photopills to track the trajectory of the sun and where it would be at golden hour in relation to the house.
This shot was actually part of a 4-hour timelapse that made its way into the property video, capturing afternoon light into twilight. But this frame jumped out at me for the sun burst on the edge and the deep shadows firing across the scene. Shot with an a7iii and Canon 24mm TSE.
